well got down for 7am the harbour was boiling with mackrel caught a couple for bait hit the end quite a few lads down by 11am loads of sport alot of undersize fish but the only sized cod was caught by me 3lb1/2 fresh crab was the bait well pleased king of the pier for a day ha ha fished till 4pm nowt much just undersize stuff apart from a canny dab a plaice and a gurnard caught by the lads down great day great crack and great music fished walkway 5/9/11 7pm till 10pm one sized cod just over the lb mark and a canny coalie 1lb3/4 loads of small whiting still canny night

yea was an ok day on the pier fish looks smaller in the photo too

Hi nrgjim, I was on the pier 4/9/11 from 7am too. I think maybe you were the one I spoke to at the gate before I climbed around? I was the one travelling light with spinning gear. Nice to meet you if it was. Great fish that too! Nice one.

Yeah a great day- I packed in late morning when it started getting busy but by then had seven mackeral on the spinner a coalie on the float. Great fun.

Canny day and good to meet some of u. Shame I was so ROUGH, could barely crack a smile all day was so ill! I'm a sucker for self infliction!
