Gordon thats what I was told today by the pier watchman and the guy from the Brigade Hut it will be closed from 12 until about 20 00 hrs so thats it shut altogether for the whole day unless you plan a silly o,clock start.

problem I've got joe, with this tide, is it's ganna have to be the blocks or the end, so brass ball it'll be. just trying to figure out how to remain there when its showtime. not ganna move like.

Gordon you,ll have to go down the steps n hide but I think they may just see ya! or climb down the steps over the blocks, not a good idea I think! better still just get the boss to drop you off down on the hough in hartlepool.

so if the pier is closed and the sea remains choppy like its been last few days , it will be interesting to see if they have the firework display.... to be honest sea not that big so probably yes, but would be more interesting if sea lifted slightly. as they close for angling if someone farts in the wrong direction!
