Fished shield son a nice warm day,no sun but nice weather.

Lots fishing and the bait lads doing well on rag and crab for Plaice and dab.

I ended up with 3 cracking pollack on redgills 1 1/2 all 3, great fight, also 2 coalie and 28 sandeel that i am keeping fresh.

Still no mackerel but the signs or there they only a few days off hitting the piers, lots of boats out bagging up 200-300 yards off the south pier.

We had a good day at the end after a slow start. As already said rag seemed to outfish crab with plenty of flatties were getting caught. I saw one Pollock caught on a spinner and I managed to land a decent sized Codling on rag.
