shields pier 7/10/11 loads of fish

went down for 6pm a bit slow at first one lad a canny 4lb cod and a 3lb 2 other lads managed a couple of cod 3lb mark l started getting in to cod around 11pm fished till 4am ended with five cod heavyest was just over 2lb one of the lads says your due a slack linner would you believe it got one the rod went with one hell of a thump them my line started coming back at me pick it up took the slack line in the rod went down l struck into it started reeling in had to pump it then half way in the ruddy thing come off well had another cast but it never come back so headed home at 4am bait was rag and lug

This why I haven't caught a cod yet, all you bloody lot on nesa are catching em leaving non for me lol, nice catches mate.
