Fished the end with Baz he got down before me and wasnt alot doing, i had a whitie second cast and not long after Baz called it a night as he'd been on the drink the night before and was feeling a little worse for wear, i stopped on and moved from the brass ball to the SE corner and second cast there i had another one this time a codling 1lb 1/2 just lip hooked both fish returned.

Fished for an hour after moving slowly round the pier end to the brass ball again, not a touch, called it time just after midnight.

A fella fishing next to me had half a dozen fish mixture of whities and dabs only codling i saw was the one i had, shame as i thought there might a been a few more about bait was rag and blow lug.

Thats it for me till after christmas now.

l was out on thursday night off end of pier had one sized wty hope these winds pick up and push a few in

Well done for trying, I fished Roker pier last night till 12.30 a.m. and only caught a dab. I tried close in on the sea side, the barrier and the end. No codling were caught by anyone whilst I was there.
