Headed down the pier early this morning to be greeted with the only cloud int he sky blocking the sun, bloody typical! I did think it didn't bode well..... anyways, took a nice Mackerel on a spinner to christen my new spinning rod with the first cast off the small wall, nice bend, decent fight and number one in the bag! Well, turns out number one was the only one! :D My Dad picked up a half dozen others on feathers and a few other lads had bag fulls before we headed home.

I am also amazed by the amount of clueless people who fish during the summer, a guy parking up about 3m away from us (WHEN HE HAD THE WHOLE PIER TO USE) all because we had caught a few fish..... does my nut in! Anyway, better than being stuck in the hoose!

:D
