doe's anybody know if there's anything getting caught on the pier apart from macky just fancied a trip out tomorrow with the bairn.:question:

probs a bit quiet mate ,like most piers odd flatties , few macky here and there ,whiting and maybe the surprize catch species

Where abouts on the pier do you fish from, I'm presuming youmean South Shields yeah ?
Went for a walk up there last week with the mrs and pier was all closed off for maintenance work.

Should also mention I'm new here and to sea fishing

theres a bit of every thing getting caught but not in numbers go to the 1st gate area with rag worm and u might get a plaice

thanks lads for the info;and welcome to nesa krash,usually fish 43 mark or coley corner or the wheel,maybe try a bit of everything tomorrow crab,rag,lug,squid,mussel,mad cocktail ay,worth a try may catch that bigun never know.
