went on the pier today 9.30 was told it been total c**p from about 6a.m.
was same till 11.30 then a few maki come on, a couple of dinky dabs, a small plaice, then tiny cod and 1 sizable coli a few more maki taking the total of maki to bout a dozen or so till 3 p. m.. one good thing though none of the meat heads who spoil it all for the rest of us and none of the cheeky little youngs down today, only serious spinners and young kids wanting to fish
highlight of the day a monk fish was taken estimate bout 3lb its head was about a foot in diameter while ( tail, body ) about 8inches and was put back alive
could'nt catch owt on end so went up to rubble and got a bit action mainly small stuff but managed a sizable cod 1.75 lb and that was till 7.30 p m and home time
would've had picture of monk fish but battries camera went flat
