Iam going to fish the round-end of the pier saturday,and tips on how far i should cast and what sort of ground i will be fishing over?? cheers jamie

rough bottom on the end its best to get a good chuck to avoid snags

I like the brass ball on the end of the pier, if you look at the floor on the top step its facing due east, i find its best on the first few hours of the flood.

if u fish the brass ball u want to fish last 2 hrs of ebb and first hr ov the flood then move on to the small wall when the tide starts to pull
