Hi all...
Fished the pier this morning,8am till 12pm,was greeted with an empty pier not very often that happens,usually means no fish.Fished the flood off the small wall,bite within 10mins resulted in a nice whiting(about the size of me seat box top),next cast the same,and the next,then thet was it till i packed in.
Bait used runny down and calamari,tackle...tt match,slosh 20 and up and over rig.Last cast i stuffed a whole squid with runny down lashed it on and cast out hoping for a cod,not a sniff,maybe next time.Back to the river next time seems more codling up there at min.

the reasom was probably because all that was caught yesterday from bout 7am till 7pm was whiti , whiti and evem more whiti, but rhere was some really good uns though

Aye waco they were very good sized whiting,biggest i have caught.
