Fished 3 up 2 down today. Started on the south east corner then moved to brass ball on tide turning. Had whiting dab and me 1 st dogfish. No cod tho!!! Got to give me new rod a blast and it was ideal. Casts a dream... Even on the not so perfect conditions! Seen a nice 7lb cod pulled in then jst as I was leaving another about 3lb I'd guess as i was a Amy distance away. Canny day out, wind spoilt it abit, as it limited the places to fish...

I'd be very surprised if there was loads of cod about especially near the piers, there'll be too much freshh water about for them
