Just a heads up for anyone using one of these. Had mine a couple of months and its the best reel I have ever had in use. But one night the handle wouldn't lock properly after I folded it out from the storage position and when I was winding in it kept coming loose. Took it apart and found the handle screw lock washer (part number 13294) had basically disintegrated.
I called Shimano UK service on 01792 796584 and they knew straight away what the problem was. They didn't say as much but it sounded like a well known fault the way the (very helpful) engineer responded. He told me the washer cracks if it is over tightened and said he would send me a few spares. I got three in the post a couple of days later.
Interesting they sent me 3, maybe they think it might happen again ?
