Hi lads I'm after a bit if advice on the above rod

Does anyone own one and if so what do you think of it I've been looking at them and I really like the look of them. Had a feel of the heavy 8ft model in Frasers and at £30 it seems like an excellent choice.
What's your opinions

Been looking at them meself mate, dont know how they can sell such a quality made rod for that price and make a profit. The whippings the lot are all tip top. Cant go wrong for 30 squid in my opinion.
Just bought the Vengence Bass Rod and its been made to the same quality. havnt had the chance to try it yet though.
;)

if you knew the profit margin on MOST fishing tackle you would be amazed

I think I will be going for one I've had a phone call of a mate and he says they're fine. Also like Stevie says for the price you cannot ask for more they really do look the business.

Ps Stevie I like your NEW targets for this year

Just got a 20lb class one, they're well finished with a softish tip, thought I'd give one a try this year as i'm sick of snapping the tips with sonic and greys rods. Shimano gear has a good reputation for quality I only use shimano reels now because they last, I'm sure a lot of anglers on here are the same. Gis a month or two and I'll tell what the rod is really like !

I bought a "Vengence" rod last year, but it is the lightest rating model (6 - 12lbs) test curve. I use it in my own boat when, but only at times I am anchored, as it is VERY light, and don't want to try and pull it out of snags when I'm drifting.
Personally I absolutely love it. It's caught cod to 6lbs, and providing you are careful with it, it copes well. Bite detection is fantastic and it is great fun to use.
I am no expert on rods, but build quality seems fine.
Don't know what test curve rating your after, but they do make heavier models. Obviously everyone has their opinion about certain rods, but as I say I really like mine.
Incidentally, I paid £50.00 for mine ! So if you can get one for £30.00, seems like a bargain mate.

I'm after a slight heavier rating rod although they're only classed at 20-40lb for up the Shetlands incase we hit into some really big fish I do like a nice light rod with great action but I just don't think not would cope with the bigger fish up there. And like I say for £30 you can't go wrong

Year ther in clouded in are price mate rod and reels we get suplied with

And Scotty incase you blank there's a 50lb stuffed Cod , just so you can get a picture to show your lass. Just so she believes you've been Fishing and not off on the prowl !!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!
