For general chat we use ch8 ( With a listening watch on 16/8 dual watch function ) . Been quiet of late like lol

maybe the fish now have a vhf and are on channel 8 tracking our movements...should we change channell and confuse them ....ha ha!!

Yeah Channel 8`s fine , it`s just that lately no one want`s to call out on vhf and admit \"caught nowt\" LOL I`m sure we`ll be frequenting the vhf waves with calls of \"picking away , just pickin away\" LOL (fisherman talk for \"I got a load but not going to tell ya where !\" ) not be long now hold on in there a few more weeks.

Channel 8 chers lads Just been to first beach today and I was talking to a friend of mine who has a trawler, he said it\'s dreadful the fishing he had 2 cod and one bag not box of prawns all day, the best catch amongst the trawlers was 5 boxs of whiting that\'s how bad it is a the moment. Well I shall just have to keep collecting bait, when the crab start peeling the cod will be hear hopefully then the radio will be buzzing. lol.lol

Hi Norman, I\'m still in the water not gone the stocks yet, our stocks are just beside the boat, so it\'s easy to put it on and off. Not going out this weekend, hubby is building a greenhouse at the allotment, going up the coast road to look at some flo orange for the roof of the boat, if the boat goes downI shall hang on to the roof.lol.lol.lol will be taking radio to the beach when out with the dogs, having a listen.
