shop help

I'm not sure if Terry Woods stocks them - I know he's certainly built a few - but is probably your best bet to try. I can't think of any other shops uff the top of my head (maybe Andy Rutherford but I think he's mostly Conoflex).

Gary :)

Try ID fishing at Newcastle mate. They have a massive shop and a huge rod selection, not that I've been inside but when I've drove past you can see loads of rods.

I know you don't want to go online but I can highly recommend this place, probably the best (and best value) place to get ZZiplex blanks:

eFISHsell - New & Used Fishing Tackle Online Marketplace...

Local I know Terry gets them in so Reelport might be worth a go. Problem with ZZiplex is TC has his favoured retailers and every one else has to make do with whatever is left over, or you can put an order in and it will take months to arrive...

That's why I don't want to order online as they send you what they have it could be a old blank its happened to me and that was from uk hooks as I am after a glass tipped rod I want to check how the glass is some are a bit soft

Aye thats a problem with Zziplex, thing is Terry makes them all himself by hand so each and every rod is slightly different in how it behaves even though they've got the same badge on.

Efishsell though are generally regarded as one of the best places to get Zziplex blanks from, they only sell what they have in stock and thier turnover of blanks is pretty rapid

That's what I thought - I reckon Terry at Reelsport is probably your best bet If Brian at Fraser's hasn't got what you need (I've never heard of Keith's I'm afraid).

Gary :)

Cheers mate will ring in the morning Keith's tackle is at saltburn great shop who sells zippys

Was in Keith's a few weeks ago, had a quite a few zippy blanks in. Is a good walk around, 3 floors of fishing and shooting. Lots of sea fishing gear, almost treated myself to a second hand TTR and M4 evo when was there until I realised I had left me bank card at me mothers.
