Sorry for my tardiness in replying to Ell\'s plea for me to do a search on prizes for the shore comp....Unfortunately I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me andd I will not be able to devote much if any time to sourcing things for the comp. I have a new job and I really have to concentrate on that for the forseeable. Sorry once again.
Meet at the Rendezvous car park 7:00-7:30pm for registration
Lines in 8:00pm.
Lines out 11:00pm.
Weigh in at 11:45 prompt.
As no one seems to have a problem with IanW\"s idea of £10:00 entrance fee that is what it will be. Half going to the R.N.L.I. and the rest going in prize money. So some one is going to have a canny night lol. Hopefully we might be able to get a bit of a prize table between us also.
Boundaries of comp. Tynemouth pier excluding any part of the pier to the peeping tom rocks inside Blyth West pier.
Number of hooks allowed 2.
And finally fish. All fish presented at the weigh in must be in size according to the NFSA minimum size limits.
Anyone else that is a bit shy about joining the comp, do it. That is how I met and made some good friends last year as I had only been on the board for about a month and i blanked lol. So if you are a bit worried about making a pillock of your self don\"t be. You could be arranging next years comp lol.
I will be bringing a few copies of fish size limits on the night so if your not sure ask for one.
Cheers, Jim. will try my best to attend Sat morning is a bad day for me,, early start at work. up at 4,30am,,, I will try to get a shift change, but Im not holding my breath usuall in bed by 9pm, but will try my best,, cheers Jon
Yes it would be nice to get a few more Tony.
Alan.f meant to reply to you earlier mate. We can still have a get together early next year but would rather keep November for the comp as that was when Tony arranged it last year. I think it would be good if we could set a date for around this time and hold it annually, then everyone knows when it is. All we have to do then is decide on a venue.
As you are leaving Whitley Bay along the sea road heading north you will come through some traffic lights. About 2 or 3 hundred yards further you will come to a mini roundabout. Turn right into the car park.
