Its about 300 yds North of the big white dome ,, the leasure pool is on your right, then you hit (or miss i hope) a rounderbout turn right, down to the beach,,, or head for ST Marys lighthouse iff you miss the turning, you will doubble back on yourself, pass the Brier Dean pub it should be on your right hand side, then its left at the first roundabout..

Alan.f meant to reply to you earlier mate. We can still have a get together early next year but would rather keep November for the comp as that was when Tony arranged it last year. I think it would be good if we could set a date for around this time and hold it annually, then everyone knows when it is. All we have to do then is decide on a venue.

just a thought but carrying on what alan f said ,,,why not have 3 shore comps a year ,spring ,autumn and winter providing it doesnt clash with the boat comp one up blyth another over the stream on the shields side then a 3rd based around tynemouth

Might have a transport problem yet the tw.. eh wife might need the car,not 100% sure yet,probably get my mate to come but failing that i might have to put a request out for a lift/car share (pay for petrol),I could probably get to the reg at whitley Bay then i could meet up with someone,possibly fish with them then bum a lift home,had to get my thinking cap on here.See what happens between now and then.She says to wait to nearer the time,bless her.....

First two prizes for the comp. I am donating a bottle of whisky and my boss is putting in a bottle of vodka.

Tell you what bri throw in a few of your weights as a prize and You can change your hooks if you lose them lol.
