Short boat trips ?

For me, swimming, sailing, canoeing etc, no problem.

Fishing boats = projectile vomiting of the highest order

I'm fairly convinced that this is less to do with motion and more to do with engine fumes, but it is what it is and I don't see it changing.

So, the question is, are there commonly any short inshore boat trips of several hours/half a day running from our coast that anyone could recommend ?

I figure if I'm going to turn myself inside out and back to front I may as well not make a full day out of it

Anyone have any suggestions ?

regarding you sea sickness mate,(i know you didnt ask about remedys)you have probably heard them all:exclam:

anyhoo the noo heres one that has fixed a few that i know:)

two sea legs the night before you sail, and two when you get up in the morn, but as im sure you know they make you tired,so caution on the homeward drive:exclam:

Again, thanks for the info.

I tried all kinds years ago but even Dramamine made no difference - I threw it up (along with everything else )

It's the one thing that stopped me buying a boat years back - not much point in paying for something guaranteed to make you sick. That's what marriage is for...

:D

The Tyne charter boats do short evening trips for mackerel in the summer when the daylight lasts long enough.
If you want a short trip out one weekend, drop me a PM and I’ll take you out from the Royal Quays.
