well ive just had my third blank in a row, probably 10 years since ive had a run as bad as this. there wasn't many fish about today, a lot of people blanked.
i did have a fish on my second last cast but i got snagged so i left it for 5 mins and i came out, the fish was on but it came off during the retrieve.

a big well done to young emma elliot who got a pollock 1lb 9oz and 2 gurnards
she had the second heaviest fish.

here's a few pics of emma's fish and the amazing red arrows.

ive had the same experience meself this year with me daughter showing me how to fish so i know how you feel, proud probably.
nice fish and canny air display to keep the folk not catching fish entertained.

Well done Emma :D

Heard (first) then saw the arrows blast over Blyth today on their way, I presume, to Newcastle Airport. Remember a couple of years back them doing a smoke display over the Western By-Pass - was suprised there wasn't a major pile up!
