Shrink Tube

Can anyone tell me how to apply shrink tube to a rod. Am I right in thinking that you \'just add boiling water\'? Also does the length of it shrink, ie do you have to overcompensate length wise?

aye mike u just use boiling water or use a hairdryer a sfor the length i don\'t think that it shrinks that much.
