managed to get a flyer yesterday and got the boat out for a couple of ours, just got a few mackie for wa supper, i just got past the piers and just drifted about, the tide was quite quick and it wasnt to long before we were near the cans, i started to head in about 5 oclock tea time, and about midway between the cans and the noth pier i was speedily aproached by a belting boat ,nice twin motors on the back ive seen it come in before with shelfish of some sort and people picking it up from the quays, any way they asked where we were going and i replied the tyne, i could hardly make out what he was saying but it was like i couldnt go near the shore and to the piers, i had to go out to sea ,past his orange bouy and as i was going out he kept waving his arm up and down as if drawing mountains in mid air, he definately wasnt shaking his fist , would he have had nets out if so what for and what was the sign language, didnt know weather i was doing reet or rang, if your reading this mate i'll no next time, any comments
