iv got the 14" 5-7oz version mate and its easy to cast and light weight the only downside is the rings are not very sturdy. just last week on sheilds pier a woman walking a dog knocked mine off its stand and 4 rings on the tip smashed.next day phoned sonik and got a new tip section

smashing rod, but rering with, fuji shock rings ive done two of them its not a hard job.you can do it for about 25quid yourself, its better than running back and forwards to the factory with 35quid,you just have to fart hard and the rings drop out.

my m8 just got a sk4 5 to 7oz 14ft rod nice and powerful i use the greys apollo mk1 1 which is a nice rod but thinking am gonna ditch it for the sk4 smashing rods in my opinion.

Don't shout it around but my SK4 5-7 is my rod of choice for big sea work now and I have Century's/Zzippys etc. Granted I will use a Zzippy when its calmer and a Century for the really rough stuff... Will it last..don't know, do I care, not really for £90 second hand...bargain. Proper fishing rod.
