went out on the jfk again 6 nov :D . got to the peirs and were alittle bit dishearted with the sea as there was a little lop on with a2 meter swell and chop on top but off we went first wreck we hit was for the bait and cant believe the macky's were still there and a few cod wich was a good sign we got wot we needid for the day off we went looking for the fish first couple of wrecks we hit were a bit poor but put that down to the tides and weather :( even so we kept trying and allways keep faith in the skipper as its not allways the skipper's fault asa long as he try's and try he did which we all know he always does. and couple of wrecks in and they started to bite every drift seem to get better with 5 and 6 a drift before i knew it i had about 10 fish myself i think the boat must had about 50 fish with some nice ling in double figures with a few cod and some nice polock around the 9lb mark so not a bad day after all..:D

aye we did go south a bit only pick a couple up another boat came to us on one wreck so the skipper left that wreck and went try couple of other wrecks there but we did'nt get much off any of them and went up to souter where we got most the fish in the morning proved a good move as we got more fish off it. the skipper said thanks to the other boat made us get back to the fish again.enjoyed the day..:red::red:

you,s were a long way south, thought it was not alan at the helm, the other boat was the famous (hartlepool)and dont understand how you think there were not any fish on that wreck as the lads bagged up very nicely
think mark needs to calm down a bit ,there plentycod for every one

aye a think marks just an old sea dog does'nt like fishing wrecks when other boats r on them i used to fish with mark, years ago on the lady yvonne, roberta, p and the starburst, and he was the same back then about fishing wrecks when other boats r on just an old fashion skipper but agood one. we did get fish off that wreck but a think he did not want to plug the wreck to much as you know it can kill the wreck off. like i say we done well back souter. did you's do ok that day..

you probly know me as well then ,i used to fish with ,mark, alan, and alans dad,i was not out due to having a op on my heart last wedensday, looking forward to next year,we have had a great year fishing from hartlepool
