sliding reel seat

i have jammed a sliding reel seat on a blank, any ideas how to remove it back thanks in advance

Carefully

Try a little thin oil and light pressure... Try twisting slightly from side to side but try not to turn it around fully as can cause abrasion

thanks, i'll try spraying it with wd40 and leave during the day may be it will shift the morn night, thing is i have just put a heat shrink on prior to that..hayho

A kettle-full of boiling water poured over it usually works wonders!
