For doing work on the boat that is! :D

A rudder repair forced a lift out for Slinky earlier in the week leaving Norman with a slight quandry building up to the weekend as to whether the normal "out of water" jobs get done IE Clean-up, antifoul and anodes etc...especially considering all was done only 8 months ago; and even more so when the forecast was looking alright for the boats this weekend :D

All that said it was a no brainer really because if a job needs doing it needs doing properly (and anyone who knows Norman knows that a "rush job" just isn't in his nature )

So anyway after the rudder fix that Norman had already done on thursday and the hull clean up it was time for antifoul and the clean and polish :)

The skipper doing some prep on the prop - and pondering how many coats of anti-foul to put on it...:p:D

Please be assured that I was hard at it also doing the hull clean then the wax and polish...no pics so you'll just have to take my word for it :D

So she now looks gleaming from tip to toe and will cut through the water like a hot knife through butter...she's going back in the water on monday in readiness for the next trip out!

Can't wait!

BTW the Porsche is mine yeah...it's just a weekend runabout though LOL

Nice Tony, it was a good day to be working on the boat with that sun out and the fishing still not yet super.
Fingers crossed thats her done for 2-3 years now.

Aye Rich there was quite a few boat owners down there on boats of all shapes and sizes...was good to hear the sounds of hard graft and nice to get my office workers hands dirty for a change :)

Your doing well on the diet looked like you had lost abit beaf, will aid in Slinky Kates speed along with the nexw paint up :)

Look forward to Slinkys catch reports next weekend.

Great pics Tony, Bet those overalls weren't so white when you had finished though, that antifoul is a bugger to get off....
I notice the trim tabs Norm, do they make a difference to the boat ?

cheers tone .... great day mate thanks once gain for all the help .... she's gleaming

chris,
the trim tabs are solid factory set but certainly do seem to help, when at speed you can see her sitting on them ....

cheers

norm

just a thought, you ever thought about hydraulic trim tabs?

slinky looks like she's ready to take them? might even pay for em selves with the hideous cost of fuel
