Met up with the skipper at 0900 :o

Plan was always to do some boat prep with any fishing being an added bonus

Anywho - I scrubbed Slinkys top side while Norm sanded the woods...we then headed out past the piers

It wasn't half bad sea wise - def been out in lumpier...big ol' lazy swells but that was the worst of it

We cruised up to St Marys passing a few familiar faces on the way - all saying they'd managed at least one fish

We hung around for about an hour but to be honest Slinky pre season sea trial was the main aim so after half heartedly fishing and with the rain coming in we headed back to the RQ with not a bite between us

Anyways...great to get out and shake off the cobwebs and dust off the boaty drills and also to see the usual suspects doing the same ;)

Few pics:

Skipper doing the hard graft :)

Applying the teak oil...

Finished the boat prep - let's head up the river!!! :D

Met the Rolls on "On A Roll" :)

And Arthur too!!:D

...and that was it :yltype:

Hopefully this is the start...next report will have some fish (hopefully) :D

Cheers

Tony

Pity there weren't many fish about today Tony, but on a bigger tide I'm sure things will pick up.
