Slinky Moulds

Just gave the new mould a whirl, switched the gas ring and blow torch on at 10.35am and had 20 quality leads by 11.0am

Great to hear Keith,

This is now the current Range of Slinky Moulds 10oz - 12oz - 14oz - 16oz...and a baby 5oz ..... :) :) more than you could shake a stick at lol :)

Spent a bit time on the new "Little" mould (by request) today (at the end of the line up above), it's a 5oz teardrop mould .....

cheers

Happy casting :)

Hi mate,
Everything is possible, will pm you details

Norm

what about one of these Norman double pyramid

Hi Nicky,
honest question as I don't know, do you think the loop should be in the other end like more traditional weights ie. the lightest end ... as I might just try a one .. :) :) see below ... :) :)

The Simulated program .... but the loop on the other side ... what do you think ?

cheers

Looks good Norman but the wire at the thick end there designed the shape provides a large amount of grip but is designed to allow you to move your tackle in the tide.Heres another design

Cheers Nicky, I think I'll try a one like this as I'm more interested in the way the tool will cut at the bottom then maybe look at a re-design later, this looks to be 4 oz, what would be the common weights for these ?

Cheers

Norm

The Slinky Pyramid .....

completed the initial mould for test, just got to weigh the weights too see if they come to the expected 4oz (then adjust as necessary).

After taking advice from several of you lads I am going to change the next one to put the loop at the less pointy end, it seems (all odd to me on a boat) that its beneficial for the pointy end to stick in the sand and anchor the weight so pointy end first, as opposed to us in boats that hate the weight sticking in the sand/mud/wreck :) :) )

the slinky 4oz pyramid .........

your views would be much appreciated ...... lol maybe I should have posted in Shore Fishing :) :) :)

cheers

Norm
