Slosh 20 Brake Blocks

I have just fitted the white brake blocks on to the spindle, unlike my Abu 7000 the blocks don’t seem to positively snap on to the bar, I assume that it is the circular part in the end plate that is stopping them from flying off, would be grateful if someone could confirm this is the case before I chew it up on the first cast.

Yes the beads same as 7000 are encapsulated inside the ring track in the end plate and as the reel goes too fast the beads fly out hitting the ring track due to the excess centrifugal forces which then brakes the the spool until it slows enough so that the brake blocks/beads return up the wires and alow free running again hope this helps mate
