my slosh 20 has just arrived, what breaks do you recomend putting in the red or white? and do u push them all the way down the break?

Have ya used multipliers before ?? if not put both red and white blocks in at first, if you have use them try the red ones i have a slosh and put the red ones in mine.

If you're not used to multiplyers, i would'nt go blasting it even with both brakes in !
I have a slosh20 and started with the red brakes, now have one white one in but even with both in there you can still have a blow up...good luck

Sloshes arn't renound for thier blast quality, build it up slow mate and see how far you can go with it.The slosh will soon tell you LOL

i had 2 reds in mine and it was slow so cut 1 into two peices and chucked out 1 half lol. wasnt very clever as its abit to fast now :L

i have 2 big red blocks in my saltist and 2 in my 7ht turbo and they can go out a good distance, never even used my slosh 20 yet il have to see what its like have to see what brakes iv got in it before i use it but il be putting 2 red 1s in that aswell

just been out with it had a few hours at the boat house at whitley, i was giving it a fair old wack with both red and white and casting roughly between 100-150 yards, i get the whole concept behind how to use multipliers and didnt birds nest it once, picking it up quickly. oh and i blanked haha, had one decent pull but no conection.

hi a lot depends on what your casting skills are like, i would put two red ones in at first better been safe than sorry .

Don't forget oil. The stuff you put in the bearings can make a big difference. For a novice caster or a wild reel a couple of drops of 40w50 engine oil will tame any reel. For more accomplished casters yellow or even tournament rocket fuel in combination with blocks / mag settings is they way to go.

I used to run my black 7HT with one white block and yellow rocket fuel in the bearings, for a Slosh I'd reckon one red and the same - go down to two reds and the engine oil for a totally docile reel.

if you put a magnet conversion it makes everything simpler and easier plenty available not pricey either and easy to fit. if you are interested i will find link for you.
