Not that much smaller than the 30 then
broke me thum years ago and I'm finding the 30 a bit wide
think I'll try and get another shimano speedmaster

The slosh series of reels sit very high on the rod. Take your rod butt to a tackle shop and try a few reels out.

As Boro says both the slosh and speedmaster sit high off the rod.. I would try a 525.. Sits a fair bit lower
