does anyone know who services slosh reels on here.oiled the bearings on my reel but still a whiring noise on the cast..only on the right hand side of reel .any ideas what it could be,,,any info appreciated.

When you oiled the bearings did you take them out? I had the same problem with my Slosh 20 a while back, it turned out that the bearing on the handle side had collapsed and had rusted on the side that was not visible.

never took them out, just oiled them in housing.the reels only about 6 months old.

If you take out the handle side bearing the clip has a tendency to escape. I use a needle to take it out and hold the reel inside a clear polythene bag so it can't get away. To oil the bearing properly you will need to remove it. It may still have grease in it from new, if this is the case soak it in some degreaser (lighter fuel does the job) wipe and re-oil. If the noise is only during casting it is unlikely that it is anything else than the bearing.
