Headed out yesterday for about 1ish got some more quality bait from lewis's and headed for sluice pier got there for about 2ish baited up and forst cast had a small codling and thought are well it's a start so stayed there got another 2hours until the tide dropped off without another movement off the end off that rod so headed to the rubber factory on the fish quay (all of this travel on the old public transport like) so got there for just after 5 and baited up and had a cuppa and again within minutes a had a good knock pulled it in and had a nice fish of about 2pounds 3-4 casts later bang another cod 1-2pounds then I my last cast another cod this time it was the smallest fish I've ever seen any way packed up and headed home for me tea......wish j started the quay in the first place as I only live 5min walk from it are well musnt grumble..........back down there today to finish off the bait rag,mussel and mackerel all fish were taking on just the rag.......tight lines on this cold weather guys......And Girls sorry.....
