Small Beach shields

Not often i bother putting catch reports up but missed the mini comp on roker today due to delay in dinner so headed down the small beach after getting some rag and mackrel fillets from Terry at Reelsport, was a bit windy and rainy but decided to have a couple hours and my first cast produced


just touching on 39cm
then all went quiet for the next couple hours so decided to have one last cast which produced another, Not quite as big but didnt measure this one


Crappy weather but a decent couple hours and just as i was walking away out comes the sun

You would have won the comp with that one by 1cm. Weather wasn't the best at Roker either. Well done on the flatties.

Thanks lads, I was right near the old waste pipe, Noticed there was a couple at the other end and a couple on the groyne

Couple of fish for ya mate better than a blank. You could see the old flying sea boat landing down there a few weeks back, something I never knew existed until the heavy seas washed the sand off it.
