Hello & welcome Glen, I'm sure Norman or Bert (tadpoleman) will give you some advice.
The areas around the yellow cans at St Marys & Souter might be worth a try.
determined to get out at least once before the end of the year in mine, rough ground at st mary's and off souter are indeed well favoured by the small boat owner.
planning on trying anchoring over the ground at the stmary's at dusk, and into the first part of the night soon to see what happens! (any volunteers!!)
plenty of wrecks within a couple of miles of the piers as well though, let me know if you need any numbers
you cans till see the piers 8 miles out on a good day!
hi Glen, welcome to NESA mate,
what boat you got and where are you (do you trail it, or kept on river?)
Still fishing left in winter for boats if you can get the weather, marks right St marys is a good bet and not too far.
welcome aboard
