Smith\'s Docks (north shields)

Fished smith\'s docks yesterday with me mate, was a kanny 4 hours fishing. first cast had a whiting about 1lb on rag, me mate was using a 2 hook clip down rig and on his second cast he brought in a coalie on the top hook about just over a 1lb and a small codling on the bottom hook.
Bites started to drop off later on, so we swithed to my 6ft pike rod for a dip doon the side to see if there was out there. Every time the bait went over the side you ere reeling in small coalies, there must have been hundreds of them.
All in all though it was a good few hours fishing.
I also got me bait from billy\'s over at north shields and it was top qualiy bait, i also got some tackle from there, including a nesa badge which is going straight on my titan smock. :P

:D :D

Aye Brashy,

Billys bait is always quality stuff, m8.

Glad you got sorted with a NESA badge - I\'ve got one on me smock + cap. They\'re a handy aid to recognising other NESA members you\'ve not yet met.

Just off for a few hours on Shields Pier - fingers crossed....lol

i\'m sure i saw you tony but wasnt sure, i didnt want to shout to see if it was you and then relize its someone else making me sell look like a rite d**K.lol.

I aint sure where to put my badge, what you reckon, either my titan smock or my titan bib and brace??? what do you\'s reckon.? :P

LOL...Brashy - So much for the \"aid to recognition\", eh !!!

Mind you, I was sporting 2 badges; one on me cap & one on me smock, on the other hand it would seem that you didn\'t have yours on...lol.

As for where to put it..........I\'d go along with Bigh and suggest you treat yourself to a few, especially if I\'m gonna spot you, coz me old eyes ain\'t what they used to be - you\'d probably need to cover yourself in \'em.....lol

Brashy, if its a waterproof titan smock, don\'t sew it onto the pocket coz I did and now I have a leaky pocket! Nearly cost me a new nokia before I worked out why it had got wet in the first place. :(

Brashy,I\'d have a word with Titan or whoever and see if they can recommend a glue or adhesive that won\'t damage owt(then you can tell me for when I get my badges)lol :D

might do that actually, the titan factory is only at bolden, isnt it?? :P .

might get another badge as well though. :P

i agree! i\'m very sure its there because thats where i got my titan bib and brace from and my smock, just it was some time ago when i got them. but in one of the sea anglers or total sea fishing magizines they are advertised in there and the address is some where in boldon. i will find out any how. :D ;) :D

Tony,Brashy\'s got me thinking, could you get some NESA badges(maybe sale or return)and see if anybody wants some on the comp night if they have\'nt already got them.   :yltype:

Brashy,

Titan are based at Boldon Business Park.

Their address is;
Titan Fishing Products
17 Witney Way
Boldon Business Park
Tyne & Wear
NE35 9PE

Here\'s a map showing where they are.
It\'s a bit out of date, but I\'ve marked on the locations of Asda and the UGI Cinema to help you.

As far as the badges go.......I can get in touch with Alan at Titan to see if they can still supply them. However, the badges are a little out of date now as they have the \"sea-angler.org\" site address on and NESA is no longer hosted there.

See my post, NOVEMBER COMP / NESA BADGES

For those who haven\'t seen the NESA badge, this is what they look like......
