Fished the tide up at smiths dock last night from about 6.30pm-11.00pm
with nesa member Purron
had an absolute nightmare with lost gear for both of us but plenty of takes but all lost in the retreive
even had a lead unclip itself from my rig??? must have pulled the hoop out of the lead
anyways to top that and the horrible rain(i soon relised my ''waterproof'' pants werent
) purron caught a seagull

he was bringing his gear in then sudenly BANG!! WHAT THE F##KS THAT!!
seagull had managed to wrapp its wing around purrons line
we started to handball it in then SNAPP!!! line breaks seagull flys off leaving two very disgruntled fisherman in its wake!!!
Oh and by the way we blanked!! birds dont count

on a plus side apart from that its was great to get out with purron even though
we went threw hell!!
purron was testing his new reel but the kamakazi seagull put pay to that
i on the other hand was trying out my new rod a daiwa tdss 120ma beachy

ive totally fell in love with it as its a joy to cast with
so all in all its wasnt a complete waste of time as it beats watching the sodding xfactor
