Have a look on Google maps...use the Hybrid option. Its hard to miss and pretty high detail.

The whole area looks like a buiding site and surely there must be some plac e to get close to the water.

Cheers
Dave.

security on smiths now cause theyve got all the machines in now they wont take any chances u'l be lucky 2 get in

You Can Still Get On There Mate Theres Still Gaps In The Fence Might Struggle To Get A Box Thru But There Was About 8 People Fishing There Friday Evening However It Is Like A Building Site So Beware And U Might Get Kicked Off By The Elusive Security Good Hunting Be Carefull

dont want to be a kill joy here but fences are put up for a reason and security is there for a reason, so if people want to trespass and maybe look at prosecution good luck to them:D

pretty dam obvious fence is a fence is a fence still doesnt stop people who want to fish does it regardless its been like that for a good few years mate and no fence will stop anyone

look at other docks in the n/east areas ,fences up round them ,but if the fishing grounds are good ,they will allways find a way on to fish these spots regardless of security, its the chance they take into there own hands

I remember me saying no fence will stop me fishing.

Then one night at Hendon the police came along and kicked everyone off but not after taking your name first. 2 weeks later a letter drops on the door step saying i was being let off for trespassing but my detials would be kept on file and if found again would be taken to the cleaners.

Never fished Hendon....wall anyway since :)

ive fished this place all my life, ive heard of people been moved off by the security and thats that. i havent fished smithys this year due to all the building going on but thats my choice. enter at your own risk simple as that nee sympathy you pay ya money you take your chance eh
