Smiths Dock today

Finished work at 7am this morning and set off for Smiths Dock. Fished for just under 4 hours and the rod never stopped twitching with v small bites. Ended up with 4 whities and 2 codling. None to size and all went back alive

Used lug and mackie. It was a cracking morning weather wise and good fun.

As another post said "at least i got out".

Aye "at least you got out" I was getting loads of small bites yesterday too which I think were crabs since I managed to pull in two of them. There wasn't much fish action in the river yesterday.

easy access theres two holes in fences at royal quays side you can walk through no probs.

is that the place near n-s ferry landing just been done up and is it now accessible by car any thoughts apreciated

Aye its all been landscaped ready for more houses. Dont know if you can get in that end though.
We get in through the hole in the fence just by the marina.
