Since the collage was on strike, managed to sneak out for a quick session, even though I shouldnt be fishing, should be saving for driving!!!
Anyways, a fished shields pier with 'waco' from 1:30pm til 7:15pm. Was a very good day, lovely weather and plenty fish, though all were not size. Anyway, ended up catching 22 fish in total, including my first plaice of the year!!
Although when a cort it it was double luck as it spat up a big white rag that was still wriggling, so that went straight back on the hook

Best bait of the day for me was definatley a combination of rag with strips of bluey, caught a fish or double-shot virtually every cast with that combo.
So hopefuly the bigger plaice will make an appearejnce soon... SO I CAN CATCH THEM!!
