fished the ratty corner sunday ! only place realy with a bit shelter not that it bothers me much :cool: but god it was cold :( the last time i fished that whether i had a stove and a tin of soup but no tin opener so three of us took turns to try and open it with a minging fillet nife witch had never been cleened 4 years :eek:finaly we opend it :D we all took turnes 2 have a slurp out the tin and when my mate tillted the tin up 2 take a drink i noticed a ring pull on the bottom ov the tin :confused:we had opend it upside down:o any way apart from the wether and the poor catch yesterday i was fishing:pthats whats its all about (catch nowt in the house ) can any one tell me what a poor cod is ? i was told it was a pounting but someone has got both on spices list , thanks

a por cod looks similar to a pout but is usually smaller, doesnt have the banded colouration of a pout.

the easiest way i find is a poor cod will leave your hand covered in tiny scales, a pout wont.

Haha. Unlucky with the soup. At least something like that will give you the laugh which keeps you going through a cold nights fishing
 
How many mackums does it take to open a can of soup ????????lol. If it had been orangyboom lager you would no the top from the bottom but was the soup nice .... Xxxx
 
not for the lack of trying m8 at least you give it a go i'm just waiting for this sea to drop and i'm on the beach
