So Shields Open Result

If that's a reply to my post mick I wasn't on about the dispute, just on about why anyone has to be at their mark 3 hours before kick off, in general like.
same reason guys were camping in river from about midnight and rock marks from about six in the mornin TO GET THERE 1ST before any one else

Yer not getting the point mate. I said 08:00 so was obviously refering to shields pier. What's the difference to a stampede at say 10:00 rather than 08:00, surely 1 hours enough to get set up and have a couple of chucks before the bell gans.

Just give up Bob.:)

Topfly, I realise that people want to get the best marks and will camp out at rock marks etc so they get them but I just asked why the restricted mark of s/s pier had a 3 hour diff between access and commencement of the match.
Can you enlighten me please?

Please can you tell us where you caught your undulate ray and was it day or night ?

I would like to post to say this so to finally put this whole bloody faff on to bed.

Yesterday nite the Shields Club comittee members and the two lads disqualified met up at at the club hut and discussed the problem, etc, etc. Anyways, i recieved a txt this morning from our secretary of the club saying the argument has subsided and the whole dam thing has been sorted. A dont know what was said and how it was sorted, but everyone is now happy and no more arguing.

And with that can we please have this thread finished and put to bed, everythings sorted, everyone happy. :) :) :)...

no , let us know HOW it was sorted or is it top secret:confused:

Mate a cannit say nowt as a know nothing myself! :p

All i got was a txt saying its sorted, and thats good enough for me. Where a good club and take all matters seriously, and I believe this meeting was held taking the upmost respect into what the two men had to say and what they wanted to do, but am just happy the whole thing is now sorted and both parties are equal and happy.

Hopefully Keith or someone else with some standing from the club will start a new thread stating what has come of yesterdays meeting and the eventual outcome. The Shields club has had some bad press and hopefully matters have been cleared up and we can look forward to next years open.
