well after a week on holiday with a bad week end prior to leaving its now been 3 weeks since I dropped a line so boy am I in need of a fix :)

with a bit blow in the forcast but albeit a south westerly with no easterlies for a few days then it'll maybe be a littly choppy but no big swell ... so ..... where to go ?

I think we'll probably do the "geordie circle" of wrecks around the 8 mile arc with a return around the 5 mile wrecks ..... although theres still good signs of hard ground catches so if we dont strike early then it'll be a bit ground fishing first as the tide rises .....

whos off where ... ? we will be listening in on ch 6 / ch 8 from 4.00am saturday :)

good luck everyone

I'm out tomorrow night and Saturday up at Beadnell. Maybe need to try and find some of the bigger fish if i can ;) (anyone got any marks they want to share just pm me lol)

Good luck to you lads and everyone else out!!

Good luck Norm; busy weekend ahead so planning on a short session tomorrow after work. Looks like we'll be fishing into a slack tide but hey you never know...

Tom

Should be plenty Tony, if you are hitting 8 mile wrecks I'd say you are bound to hit some sooner or later.

Good luck lads!

Will hopefully make it out off Hartlepool on Saterday if mother nature lets us.

Best of luck to all who venture out.

I am out 6.30am Sat and on a scouting mission, only plan to fish 2 wrecks all day i ahve plotted so may end up burning fuel for nothing.

Mackerel have been hit or miss last 3 times out, hammer them one day then none what so ever the next, sure if you searched for them you would find them.

May see you up St Marys at some point if your not home by the time i get up there :)

me and a neighbour are out at Seahouses.
I,m thinking is it worth buying worm baits for the hockeyes?. Worm never seems that good from the boats.
Mick.
probs get some bluey, mussel, couple of mackeral in case we do not pick any up.
I have 2 packs of shads on standby.

It's the Bob White Memorial comp for us on Saturday up at Amble and the weather is changing by the hour. I should stop checking so regularly! It will be a case of see what happens out of the piers on the morning Norman. Little Growler is only 15 feet so we have to be careful. Hopefuly it will be straight out to the marks that have been productive this week and last.
On the other hand Monday and Tuesday look as flat as flat can be before a bit of wind on weds so I am looking forward to those! I am off to buy another petrol tank in anticipation of an extra long steam to try some wrecks that are normaly out of our working range.
The last few times out Mick we have taken a box of squid as bait but the lures or fresh mackeral have done the business.

Graham.

I'll be out tomorrow from Hartlepool... well when I say out I mean going around the marina practicing getting the boat on the mooring so I don't look like a total d**k the first time I go out the lock gates :D

Hallington lake, chasing trout then off to Skye later in the week. Good luck to the lads and lasses who get out this weekend. I may be pushing my luck to join you on Sunday.

Go get em Norman :)

I'm watching the weather before I decide what to do at the weekend , it may be that I work Saturday and fish Monday or Tuesday , I won't be entering any comps this weekend that's for sure.

Not sure if ill get out tomorrow waiting on a phone call from a mate to see if he can make it. Il just be hard ground fishing around Seaham and a few of the usual marks that always get me a fish or 2.

Well the sea will or should be slight at the most but expecting a almost smooth sea..thou with that wind wth tide for half of the day it maybe very hard going for halkf my fishing time

Still should be a good day and we are having a day of scouting, got a few with no name i wish to try on my charts, this often means they not there are very small but worth looking..will report either way good or bad.

I will probably be spinning on the end of SS pier early Sat morning dead jealous watching all the boats going out

Good luck anyway I hope you all have a great day and look forward to reports and pics.

Take care out there

Jonny:)
