Social night.

i think the rattler is shut down at the minute
and the ferry tavern was bulldozed a few years ago
had some canny strippers there
lol

North Shields or Tynemouth or The Toon would do for me,probably somewhere where there easy access to the Metro would be handy or the Ferry at Shields like Bri says, would Easter weekend not be better as more people might be off work, just a thought ;)

Not really bothered where it is mate but are we getting together just for a drink or so that people can get to know each other. If it is the latter then it would be better to be somewhere a wee bit quieter, not many places like that in the toon. Especially on an easter weekend when the part timers will be out also lol.

Jim.

Right then everyone who\'s interested ,should we all go for the ferry idea ? I\'ve not been on it myself so if it\'s a yes can someone send me some details please so I can book it.

I partied on the ferry a long time ago and my best memory is warm cans of beer sold at obcsene prices and you dont get the boat for nowt. Things might have changed now tho\'. If N/cle is agreed as central for everyone then the 3 Bulls Heads in the Haymarket is worth a thought cos they have plenty room and do a wicked pint o f stella for £1 95 but I think it would have to be mid week.

Aye a bloke at work reckons he had a night on the ferry and had to pay £4 a pint (draught) but he also said he went another night on a fund raiser for a footie team and they let them sell their own cans to the punters to raise cash. Graham\'s right tho the ferry won\'t be free.
