yer goodin, think I've caught 2 of them in my whole natural, 1 at eyemouth and 1 at blyth. their there alright it's just hookin them

Lovely fish. Used to love my Sole fishing when I lived down south, late August to mid-October was the time. Very different tactics to the usual up here - size 4 hooks on very short snoods, short casts (~15 - 20 yards tops) and light discipline...

Great eating fish as well, really benefits from a couple of days in the fridge first though as they are very meaty and are better as they become less fresh
