Some bonny fish for the lads on sea-otter 2 the good fishng continues

With a weather window yesterday and a lovelly october the day in prospect expectations were high as the fishing of late has been exceptional dave my crewman had a dabble as there was only a small party onboard dave was true to form he keeps nailing the better fish and the first fish on the boat yesterday was a double .
But it didnt end there steve kettlewell jumped onboard at the last minuite he upped the anti with a cracking cod over 15lb steve was thrilled with his catch the lads got some quality fish yestrday and plenty of them.

The fish were coming fast but i noticed steves rod bouncing about a lot he was struggleing a bit

This was the result a fine cod budgeing over 15lb a lovelly fish.

The lads all smiles more happy chappies with a few of there catch.

We have had some great fishing recently we might get chance again this saturday if the forcast is right so fingers crossed.

Are you getting the fish off the ground or wrecks paul for some reason the fish arent coming south.Some lads from up here have been fishing from whitby and have been doing really well,we have been fishing out of hartlepool and shields its has been slow this year .

During summer paul cod genrally apart from the ling arent usually on the wrecks but not far away it all depends where the feed is gathering its something you learn over the years just where to look another month or so and cod will be on the wrecks again when all the feed has gone alll the signs point to a very good winter off uptiding tommorow interesting to see how we get on.
