Somewhere easy to fish?

Hi! I am looking for somewhere easy to fish as I have promised to take a young un' fishing for the first time(so not too snaggy and short casts). I have heard people talking about the British Airways car park but not sure where it is!
I don't think he would mind what sort of fish he would be catching!
Ideas would be much appreciated!

BA car park is ideal for kids mate. Safe and not bad fishing. It's down behind the Audi garage on Scotswood Road then you will see British Airways Carpark sign. Park down on the bank and keep the locked gate clear.

You could try doon the fish quay theres a stretch of beach just along from the black middens nice and safe big public car park ya mite even get u some flatties m8 anyway hope the youngin enjoys his sess best of luck
