Thinking about buying one of these rods for estuary and pier work, ( chucking daylights out and the likes). Does anyone own one of these rods and what do they think, I know the SK3 has had some chriticism in the ast but I really like the look and feel of this rod.
Also looked at a tip tornado match which I liked, I already use Century rods and love them however the tip tornado is a little higher than I wanted to pay. does anyone have an opinion regarding these 2 rods.
cheers

If you get 1 of those rods it might pay to take an over size tip ring and some gaffer tape with yer on a sesh mate just in case.

Aye, loved my century's till someone mentioned the tip wobble in the wind on here, had never noticed it before and it started to annoy the p**s out of me. They shook more than a M.F.I wardrobe so got rid of.

I haven't owned a rod that hasn't had a bit of tip bounce in the tide or wind. If you don't want tip bounce then use a broom handle.

"A bit" it moved around more than a t*rd in p*ss pot and i've never fancied a ron thompson exellerator either (broom handle) lovely casting tools mind, the century's that is.

P.S I take it you've got a wobbly tip.:D
