Anybody else having problems with the site today. It's been very slow since this morning.

aye tony m8 took a few attemps to get on and its very sluggish, nearly as slow as the fishing.

Yer 5-6.30 was impossible to get on, just sat there dieing but its flying now.

Seems fine this morning. Mind I was having slow connections to a lot of other sites yesterday, both from home and work so it could be some of the backbone servers rather than site specific.

despite being 36metres under ground, the crew working on the olympic site in london manage to drill right through the main fibre optic cables to the telstar data centre in east london at the weekend, knocked an enormous chunk off uk bandwidth while they re-routed it

had knock on issues all over the place, sites hosted down there were screwed pretty much, so they just nicked all the band width from us provincials up north to get the big southern softies back on line, while they fixed it

might have ahd something to do with it
