alrite lads, after a bit of advice, woz thinking about fishing the rocks at souter lighthouse featured in sea angler, had a walk round other day to familiarize myself to the place b4 fishing at nite n noticed the car park gets locked at 6, where else is there to park which is safe and does this mark get really busy? cheers

if coming from shields a thought the car park before lighthouse did not shut but the one after lighthouse did. a mate of mine when fishing wherry area used to park next to cottages or go further a long road and use pub car park ,canny walk though but night fished with peace of mind

When i fish along that way i park at North row ends car park and walk south behind Souter or the Whitburn lodge car park and walk east towards the sea through the field and tree lined path. Both are safe spots to park at.

Park on the main road where the houses are, stay clear of the pub car park as loads of cars been done there, be sure to check this area out as you can easily become cut off, if your unsure of the area never fish it at night or on your own.
