South Beach RAAC club match 06/03

Bit of a poor turnout for the last match of the season - not to be expected really given recent conditions, but anyways 6 members fished with 4 weighing in as follows:

Conditions: slight n/e swell,

1st - Michael Thompson - 6 whiting, 2lb 12oz - Blyth Beach
2nd - Kevin Moffat - 2 flounder, 1 coaly, 1 whiting, 2lb 11oz - Blyth Beach
3rd - John Adamson - 1 flounder, 1 whiting, 1lb 7.5oz - Blyth Beach
4th - Paul Roper - 1 flounder, 2 whiting, 1lb 7.2oz - Blyth Beach
Heaviest fish: Kev Moffat, flounder, 1lb 0.7oz

Well done all; I'll put up the final placings when they've all been calculated, but I know I lost my second place to Kev last night (gambled on finding a codling), and Phil Smithson held onto first place to take the winter title.

i seen a few on the beach lastnight, well done.
i went down 2 use a load of lug i had, fished from 8pm until 10.30pm ended up with 2 nice flounders 1lb-6oz -1lb-10oz & also had 5 whitting size, 2 of them were 1 1/2lb each so still some nice whitties about.
tried a different tipping bait & it seemed 2 do the job.
